Lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) is a potent mood altering drug discovered in 1938 by Albert Hofmann, a chemist at the Sandoz pharmaceutical laboratory in Switzerland. The effects of LSD

Visible effects include dilated pupils, goose bumps, sweating, dry mouth, tremors and profuse perspiration.

A flashback occurs suddenly, often without warning and may occur within a few days or even a year after LSD use.
